“They say Season 4 college is for reinventing yourself” says Noah at the start of this promo, trying to drum it home once again that Heroes is scooting back to S1 style stories and trying to move away from the convoluted shambles it became recently.
I’ll be watching, anyway. The trailer doesn’t exactly fill me with squee, but I figure a 40-odd minute period of masochism each week is probably good for the soul. Heroes is a bit like Opus Dei in that respect.
I am hopeful about this new season (and let’s hope they live up to their “Redemption”). I’m especially excited about the addition of Robert Knepper to the cast.
Well I’ll be there, I’ve stuck with it through thick and thin and almost given up on it more than once but am looking forward to the new series all the same, you never know, they may take us by surprise *fingers crossed*.
I’m not too familiar with Robert Knepper, but I’m optimistic about the new characters; Heroes seems to handle new additions to the cast fairly well, while finding it hard to write for the original characters.
And yes, hopefully “Redemption” will fit both the plot and the show!
