The HBO series stars Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson, Zach Galifianakis and Heather Burns so there are certainly no complaints to be made against the cast, whilst the plot sounds, um… slightly generic, to be honest. BUT, this is HBO + Schwartzman which (if my math is correct) = Win. Schwartzman stars as a writer who begins moonlighting as a private eye.

I’m hoping it’ll fulfill my quirky detective series quota, now that Pushing Daisies has shuffled off into the abyss.
