Interesting news from the world of FlashForward; it has been reported that Marc Guggenheim, one of the showrunners, has made a hasty exit from the ABC drama. Whilst there doesn’t seem to be any concrete reason as to why, there have been rumours that network executives were unhappy with the quality of episodes in the first [...] A copy of the pilot episode of new ABC series FlashForward has leaked online, with the episode popping up on a range of file-sharing websites. Of course, I haven’t watched it, so I certainly couldn’t tell you that the pilot was better than I’d expected. Since I haven’t seen it. ABC’s remake of the 1980’s sci-fi series V has closed down production for a two week period in order to “take advantage of our November premiere to maximize creative opportunities and deliver the audience the best show possible,” a Warners spokesperson [...] Rumours are starting to fly that ABC are working with Friends creator Marta Kauffman to adapt the 2003 Audrey Niffenegger novel into a TV show. It doesn’t appear that this would be connected to the Eric Bana movie version that has just been released, but would instead spread the story of the novel across several [...] |
