Dollhouse is crammed full of Joss’ former actors; Eliza Dushku, Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Felicia Day, Mark Sheppard and Alan Tudyk all appeared in either Buffy, Angel or Firefly. With three strong TV casts behind him should Joss Whedon once again draft in some old friends to appear in Dollhouse or does the Whedon stable of [...] The former Captain Janeway actor is joining the line-up of new NBC hospital drama Mercy, which kicks off on September 23rd. According to The Hollywood Reporter Mulgrew will play Jeannie Flanagan, the mother of lead character Veronica (Taylor Schilling). I don’t really know too much about Mercy, other than the basic premise that it’s a hospital drama focussing [...] Joss Whedon has wanted it for a long time, and it looks like it’s finally confirmed. Sources at Fox have revealed that Summer Glau is joining Dollhouse for at least 2 episodes. Colour me pleased; Whedon and Glau have worked well together on Angel, Firefly and Serenity so I have high hopes for her Dollhouse [...] |
