Kate Mulgrew joins cast of Mercy (Updated)

The former Captain Janeway actor is joining the line-up of new NBC hospital drama Mercy, which kicks off on September 23rd. According to The Hollywood Reporter Mulgrew will play Jeannie Flanagan, the mother of lead character Veronica (Taylor Schilling).

Hiroyuki Sanada joins Lost for "significant" role

Regarded as one of Japan’s most respected actors, Sanada is probably best known to western audiences for his roles in Rush Hour 3, Sunshine and The Last Samurai. The 48-year old is joining the cast of Lost’s sixth and final season for a “significant recurring role”.
