Looks like the series of specially commissioned Lost posters are increasing in popularity, with the latest edition unveiled – “The Hatch” – selling out very quickly.

Far be it from me to say this kind of looks like album artwork, but… it looks like album artwork. Meh. You can find all of the details on the posters over at their site.

New Lost poster – “The Smoke Monster”

The latest in the series of commemorative Lost posters was recently revealed and has already sold out, which just goes to show the enduring popularity of the good ol’ Smoke Monster.

I like the design of this one, but I’m not sure I could live with it hanging on my wall!

New Lost poster – “The 4-Toed Statue”

Yep, another in the special series of Lost posters has been revealed, this week focussing on the 4-toed statue discovered by Sayid way back at the end of S2, and apparently the true home of Jacob.

The description for the poster reads “Image above gold foot printed in gloss, and can only be seen from certain angles and in certain lighting.”

Considering the four-toed statue is one of the most iconic elements of Lost I’d hoped they’d do something a little more interesting with it, but if you’re a fan, you can scooch on over here and pick yourself up a copy.

Once more we have the latest in the series of specially-commissioned Lost posters for your delectation, with this week’s limited edition poster recalling the early S3 moment when Kate and Sawyer had dirty sweaty cage sex while Jack watched helplessly. Ah, young love…

Again, I have to say, slightly disappointing this week. The only posters which have so far sold out are the Locke poster (my personal favourite to date) and The Crash. If you want to get your sticky mitts on The Love Triangle, take $50 out of your piggybank and visit this site to order.

Lost are casting once again…

Ausiello is reporting the latest casting call for Lost. Read on for the details.

The Lost producers are casting a Caucasian 12-14 year old in this role -

Teenage Boy: Sporting dirty blond hair and intense searching eyes, he’s wise beyond his years. He finds himself having to deal with a horrible family accident. Recurring.

Could it be Aaron? He always seemed to have an importance to the island, and we know Claire is returning in Season 6, so it may be the time to resolve the Aaron story.

I know in-series Aaron is only 3 years old, but knowing Lost, anything is possible…

New Lost poster – “The Crash”

The latest in a series of specially commissioned posters, commemorating the best of Lost, has been released. So far there have been posters dedicated to Locke, Hurley and the Dharma Van whilst the latest poster focusses on “The Crash”.

I kind of like the style of this latest one, and the use of colours from the Oceanic Airlines logo, though it does look slightly like the DVD cover of “Lost: The Animated Series”. If you want to snag yourself a copy (each poster is limited to a run of 300) head over here.

Latest Lost poster revealed – the Dharma Van

As I mentioned last week, several artists have been commissioned to design a limited range of posters to mark the final season of Lost, celebrating the characters and imagery that made the show what it is.

Well, the latest poster has been revealed – the Dharma Van.

Uh… OK.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice and all, but… really? Not one I’ll be dashing out to buy, I’m afraid. If you’re feeling the urge to splurge, head over here and get your $50 ready…

Lost Season Six premiere episode title revealed?

According to rumours whizzing their way around the interwebs, the title for the first episode of the (sniff) last season on Lost has been revealed. I’m generally as absolutely spoiler-free for Lost as possible, and try to keep it that way, but I couldn’t resist taking a peek at this episode title. Whilst it’s only a small spoiler, it certainly gives you something to speculate on…

The rumoured title for Lost 6×01 is “LA X”, and yes, the space is there on purpose. Obviously LAX is the three letter code to signify Los Angeles airport, the destination of Oceanic 815 when it left Sydney. Does this mean that Jack’s plan in “The Incident” succeeded, and they have in fact changed history? If so, it could help explain the rumours of certain actors returning to the show. But then how will the core group of Lostaways retain their memories, which they’d surely have to? If Cuse and Lindelof are going to go down this route, I think they’ll have to work some sci-fi chicanery to explain things.

Of course, I may be jumping to conclusions. Just because LA may feature in 6×01, that doesn’t make it any different from any number of Lost episodes that have been based there. Perhaps the gap in the title means it could actually be read as LA (e)X, as in someone formerly of the city (or indeed the ex-partner of one of the main characters.)

Either way, it’s going to be a crippling wait to find out. Lost returns in frickin’ February 2010.
