Um… A boyband? Really? Last night’s episode veered wildly between disappointing and cringe-worthy, with dollops of missed opportunities mashed into it. As much as I may have criticised certain elements of the first two episodes, they nevertheless had a certain spark and energy that was inexplicably endearing. There was enough wit and warmth to carry the cliched [...] So, the first season is already over, but fret not Jackie fans; a second season is on the way. Which is a damn good thing, as over the last 12 episodes I’ve grown to love some of these characters, and I’d hate to leave them in the condition they were at the end of this [...] Wow. I kind of expected some sort of a cliffhanger to this episode, given that next week is the season finale, but I really didn’t predict that ending. |
